Our Lady of Peace is a two – form entry Primary School with Nursery provision. The school is a Catholic Voluntary Aided school within the Diocese of Northampton and has close links with the Parish of Our Lady of Peace Church in Burnham.
At Our Lady of Peace, we strive to achieve excellence in all we do, based on the Gospel values of Jesus Christ. Our mission statement ‘With Christ in our Hearts, together we grow’ places Jesus at the very centre of our school community. Our faith is celebrated through a carefully constructed Religious Education curriculum and through prayer and liturgy which is a key part of our school life. We also pride ourselves on the 'Together' part of our mission statement as we truly believe that Our Lady of Peace School is an inclusive and supportive community. All are welcome at our wonderful Catholic school in Burnham, Slough.
Pupils at our school recognise that we are all made in the image and likeness of God. As a school, we recognise that each individual is unique, with their own talents, which we endeavour to nurture and develop. As part of our pastoral care, the school is recognised as being an ELSA school, which delivers high quality emotional literacy support for pupils.
The school has high expectations and provides a safe, caring, positive and stimulating environment that promotes academic learning for all.
